Do we need flowmeters and pressure sensors?

For suitable pumps, OmniSight estimates flow and head from electrical measurements and configured pump information. Suitability depends on the pump curves and hydraulic conditions. Existing process instruments can be integrated where available, and additional measurements can extend or verify the analysis.

Can we monitor pumps with variable-speed drives?

Yes. OmniSight accounts for operating speed when assessing pump performance and comparing the operating point with the pump's reference curves.

Can we use it across different pump brands?

OmniSight can analyze suitable pumps from different manufacturers. The assessment uses the individual pump's configuration, curves and available measurements.

How does the analysis account for changes in the pump?

The original manufacturer curves are retained alongside dated working curves supported by field tests. This allows engineers to review performance changes and account for modifications such as impeller trimming.
